OCC’s Cody Almond Headed to 2018 Winter Olympics

Almond has been recently chosen to represent Switzerland in the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Cody has been a great ambassador to the Okanagan Charity Classic as he has participated in the last 3 events.

Cody Almond a Canadian-born Swiss hockey professional, who plays for and is an alternate captain of Genève-Servette HC of the National League (NLA). He has formerly played for the Minnesota Wild in the National Hockey League (NHL) as well, he has spent 4 years with our very own Kelowna Rockets (WHL).

We would like to recognize such a great accomplishment and wish Cody and his Switzerland teammates the best in their quest for Gold in South Korea.
