About Us

who we are

and what we do

The Okanagan Charity Classic was created by Patrick Sullivan with the goal of giving back to the community and giving underprivileged children the opportunity to play in organized sports and chase their dreams. Patrick previously helped to plan the Weber & Franson Sicamous Shootout for 3 years prior to founding the OCC. Patrick strongly believes in everyone being given the chance to follow their dreams, and not have financial issues limiting their potential.

Patrick joined the business side of sports after a successful hockey career that was eventually cut short due to injury. He joined one of the most decorated player agencies in the world, The Sports Corporation, as The Director of Player Development and Scouting, and worked with players and the families of top prospects and professional athletes worldwide. Patrick also played his way to becoming a PGA of Canada golf professional in the summer of 2016. In 2017, Patrick added to his success after leaving TSC to start his own sports agency in Laconic Sports & Entertainment. While Patrick runs Laconic SE, he continues to grow globally by partnering with Optima World Sports, a European based hockey agency. He can always be found trying to make a difference in the local community, supporting multiple charities and positively affecting those around him.

The Okanagan Charity Classic will be an annual golf tournament and will be accepting donations to reach our goal of helping families in need and giving kids the chance to chase their dreams without any financial limitations. In the previous 3 years the tournament has raised a total of $246,404! We would love to continue to build on that every year.

Please help us continue to make a difference and show that we live in one of the best communities in the world.
